Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Game Day

• Organizing registration materials and membership prospecting efforts for the Kids Club

• Coordinating game day operations for select promotional dates (Kids Club events, Family Fitness

Night, SuperHero Night, and other events TBD)

• Assisting in the implementation of game presentation

• Take a leadership role, working with the summer marketing interns (Fun Patrol)

• Taking part in on-field promotions as needed

Non-Game Day

• Co-managing Kids Club membership

• Database management

• Assisting in the planning and execution of Keys Youth Baseball Clinics

• Making community appearances as the Keys Mascot Keyote

• Being proactive in developing support for targeted promotional dates

• Taking a leadership role in coordinating community appearances with the Fun Patrol

Qualifications: • Recent College graduate • Ability to work night and weekend events. • Access to video editing equipment • Previous experience using graphic design programs like Adobe Photoshop, InDesign • Previous experience operating a camera • Ability to handle multiple projects at once. • Expertise in standard graphic design and video editing applications. • Ability to work independently. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • An understanding of baseball preferred. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Game Day • Record and log footage of all Frederick Keys games. • Load and Organize Tricaster for each night’s game. • Assist Promotions and Creative Services Manager and Marketing Manager with execution of game night activities and special themed events. • Work as Director during all Keys home games and help supervise camera operator staff. Non-Game Day • Keep Keys mobile app up to date and interactive for fan use. • Compile game footage from previous nights to create Keys highlight reels. • Create stills and videos for in-game use. • Take an initiative in creating multimedia material for the Frederick Keys website, as well as a variety of social networking sites. • Additional roles as assigned.

Box Office Assistant - Frederick Keys (Frederick, MD)


The Box Office Assistant is responsible for assisting with the entire operation of the Box Office including staffing, ticket sales, and providing unsurpassed customer service. 

  • $1,000 Monthly Stipend

Responsibilities / Duties:

  • Assist Director of Ticket Operations with the training, developing, and supervising of Box Office personnel to ensure customer needs are being met and that the Box Office operation is consistently efficient.

  • Perform opening and closing procedures of the Box Office on both game days and non-game days.

  • Data entry including group and season ticket contracts.

  • Account for all ticket sales and establish and maintain seating plans.

  • Run the sales window during all Keys home games and events.

  • Work directly with sales staff to ensure a timely and accurate processing of sales orders. 

  • Complete all necessary reports, paperwork, and accounting procedures which includes end of day and shift reports.

  • Perform additional duties as needed. 

  • Must have the ability to work all Keys’ home games and events – which include nights, weekends, and potentially holidays.


  • Recent college graduates and graduate students with a degree in a related field are preferred.
  • A basic understanding of Microsoft Office is necessary with Microsoft Excel experience preferred.
  • Experience with TicketReturn or other computerized ticketing software is required.

Job Description:

The Salem Red Sox are a Carolina League team located in Salem, Virginia.

We are one of the sports properties operated by Fenway Sports Management and Class High "A" affiliate of the Boston Red Sox.

The Red Sox are seeking several individuals for hire on a trial basis in our ticket sales department. The key responsibility of the sales associates will be to sell season ticket pacakges for the 2018/2019 seasons. 

This position begins in January 2018 and will run through the 2018 season. At the end of that period, based on performance and potential, a full-time staff position could be offered.

$10/hr x 40 hrs/wk  plus commission

Experience Required:

The ideal candidate would have some experience in direct sales and be comfortable making a pre-determined amount of phone calls daily to consumers. 

Excellent communication skills are required. All candidates must be outgoing with a can-do attitude and the ability to work well in a team environment. Training will be provided.

JOB TITLE:  Ticket Sales and Service Representative

JOB REPORTS TO:  Paul Stephens, Ticket Sales Manager

QUALIFICATION FOR CONSIDERATION:  Experience working in Minor League Baseball is preferred, but not required.  Knowledge of Ticketmaster is preferred, but not required.


  • Create and execute promotional nights throughout the season
  • Handle inbound calls
  • Make sales calls to Dash single game buyers
  • Assist full-time Ticket Sales Representatives with processing ticket orders and payments
  • Provide unsurpassed customer service for all clients
  • Work all Dash home games and some non-baseball events 

HOW MUCH WILL YOU MAKE?  This position is compensated with an hourly minimum wage rate, plus commission on sales.  There is an opportunity for the candidate who fills this role to earn full-time employment within our organization.

TRAINING:  All new hires in the Winston-Salem Dash ticket department go through comprehensive training before they begin their day-to-day job responsibilities. We believe our ticket staff should have a solid understanding of our products and sales philosophies. You will receive training and skills needed to be successful with the Winston-Salem Dash or any other professional sports team.

EMPLOYMENT DATE:  January 8, 2018 – August 31, 2018
